CARBON MONOXIDE & CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTORS

Carbon monoxide (CO) is an odorless, colorless gas formed by the incomplete combustion of fuels. When people are exposed to CO gas, the CO molecules will displace the oxygen in their bodies and lead to poisoning or can be fatal.

Carbon Monoxide alarms are designed to warn you of any unusual build-up of CO in your home.

Main source of excess CO is fuel burning equipment, such as furnaces, fireplaces and water heaters.  It is important to service and maintain your equipment by a professional to help prevent a CO.

CO detector unit must be replace every 5 years and checked frequently for proper operation.
